Deployment scope
Reconcile chassis, line cards and fabric modules before describing a system as operational. List the required interfaces and mode, then choose the documented line-card and fabric combination. Reserve supervisor, fabric and power components before filling service slots. Include cooling, airflow and rack access in the plan.
Component decisions
- N9K-X9736C-FX, N9K-X97160YC-EX and N9K-X9788TC-FX serve different port and media requirements. They are not equivalent line cards.
- Nexus 9504 compatibility depends on fabric type and count, slots, software and NX-OS or ACI deployment mode.
- The included bill of materials for N9K-C9504-B3-E must be confirmed. A populated chassis illustration does not establish the supplied configuration.
Acceptance plan
- Verify every installed module against the supported configuration.
- Check fabric health, line-card recognition and usable capacity.
- Test the intended redundancy and preserve the final hardware inventory.
Configuration boundary
