Provide the current host PID, software version, required interfaces and installation constraints before choosing replacements.

Selection checks

  • Stack adapters for C9200, C9200L and C9300L are not universally interchangeable. Confirm whether an offer contains an adapter or a complete kit.
  • PWR-C1, PWR-C4, PWR-C6 and C9K-PWR families require exact host and power-mode checks. Rated output is not measured switch consumption.
  • CAB-SPWR-30CM is a power-sharing cable, not a data stacking cable. Two power supplies do not guarantee full-load redundancy.

Before deployment

  • Record adapter, cable and power supply part numbers and counts.
  • Validate the intended data-stack topology and member failure behavior.
  • Test power mode and remaining PoE capacity when one supply is removed under an approved maintenance procedure.

Preparing a quotation request

Include the exact part numbers, quantities, required condition, included accessories and software entitlements. Identify the target equipment and any unresolved interface or configuration item. A product association is not a validated combination.
